Former Georgia Senate Majority Leader Ronnie Chance to serve as Senior Advisor and Consultant to The Hudson Group, LLC

Atlanta – The Hudson Group, LLC, a premier government relations firm based in Atlanta, Georgia, announced today that former Georgia Senate Majority Leader Ronnie Chance will join the firm as a Senior Advisor and Consultant.  Chance did not seek re-election in 2014, after serving 10 years in the State Senate.

About Ronnie Chance:

An Atlanta native, Chance has been involved in Georgia’s business and political community for more than 25 years.  While in the Senate, Chance served as Majority Leader, as Chairman of the Economic Development and Finance committees and was Floor Leader to both Governor Sonny Perdue and Governor Nathan Deal.  Chance was also the recipient of several awards including two-time Legislator of the Year by the Georgia Chamber of Commerce and the “2009 Champion of Economic Development” by the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce. He received the “2010 Friend of Business Award” by the Regional Business Coalition, the 2011 Environmental Leadership Award by Georgia Conservation Voters and the 2013 Legislator of the Year Award by Georgia Bio.  Chance is a 2007 graduate of Leadership Georgia.  Chance earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing from Georgia State University’s Robinson College of Business.  He and his wife, the former Cressida Stevens of Gloucestershire, England, have three daughters.
