Brian Hudson and The Hudson Group Named Georgia’s #1 Lobbyist and Top Governmental Affairs Firm

ATLANTA, GA — James Magazine, Georgia’s premier political magazine and online newsletter, has named Brian Hudson the #1 lobbyist in Georgia and The Hudson Group the state’s #1 smaller governmental affairs firm for 2026.

This marks the first time Hudson has earned the magazine’s top ranking, following back-to-back #2 rankings in 2024 and 2025. The recognition also marks the third consecutive year The Hudson Group has been named Georgia’s #1 smaller governmental affairs firm.

Each year, James Magazine publishes its rankings of Georgia’s leading lobbyists and governmental affairs firms. The rankings are informed by an online survey of the magazine’s statewide subscribers, lobbyists, government affairs professionals and firms, as well as input from bipartisan elected officials, business leaders, agency heads and clients of lobbying firms.

According to James Magazine, its rankings consider several key criteria, including integrity, the ability to provide reliable information, and legislative access and success at the state and local levels.
